The OpenLab Mobile inspired the youth fire department in Büchen with digital manufacturing technologies.

On October 9, OpenLab Mobile visited the youth fire department in Büchen. Instead of the usual service evening, the young firefighters were surprised with 3D printing and held an insight into the world of digital manufacturing. After a theoretical introduction, the participants had the opportunity to work on the 3D printers themselves and implement their own ideas. The event aroused great interest and showed how important it is to get young people excited about innovative, and sustainable technologies.
